#29 for Activity Trips

Friday,  January 29, 2021

2:54 pm Jim: You drive 29 most days, correct?

4:41 pm Me: Correct

4:47 pm Me: Lately I've been sharing with Wendy. She uses #29 for basketball shuttle and route when #18 is being temperamental.

7:24 pm Jim: Gotcha, thanks!

7:25 pm Me: Curious, why do you ask?

7:25 pm Jim: Scheduling it for some activity trips. It's one of our better, low mileage buses.

7:27 pm Me: Oh, gotcha. Wendy and I can use anything you need us to. We pick #29 because it's not as new as #20 and #31 but it's no big deal.

7:28 pm Jim: 👍

Brad? No, Kate

Tuesday,  January 26, 2021

8:17am Jim: Hey! Can you sub for Brad morning and afternoon on Friday.

8:57am Me: I can do his morning but Kate already asked me to take her PM on Fri.

Covid Shot, Please

Friday, January 15, 2021

12:08 pm Me: I'd like to get the COVID vaccine.  If I'm not too late please add me to the list.

12:09 pm Me: Ok, I just saw the survey. I've filled that out too.

1:43 pm Jim: Gotcha!

Sants back in Quarantine

Sunday, January 10, 2021

7:50 am Me: Good Morning. I have some bad news. 🥴 Isabel's COVID test came back negative earlier this week, but Josh took ill yesterday and woke this morning without his taste or smell. We'll do our best to stay healthy and keep this quarantine as short as possible but if I'm being realistic it could be much longer than that. So sorry.

8:03 am Me: Here's what you need to know...Preschool route obviously. No Pre-K on Mon the 18th, or Fri the 22nd. My route is different literally every day. I'll make sure I've got updated info to Amy.

I'm currently scheduled to drive for Kate's PM this Thursday the 14th. She's need a new sub.

Also, Balie is very close to being ready for her driving test. We haven't run alley docking yet but she's got everything else,  including parallel parking. I've encouraged her to grab another driver and run anything she needs to feel ready.

Becky passed her written test and can start training in the bus. If someone is willing to work with her I can send any tips I've learned. It's possible to have her certified before I even get out of quarantine.

8:31 am Jim: Yikes! We'll get it figured out. I appreciate all your help. I know it stinks for your kids because they keep getting quarantined.

8:33 am Me: Ya, Alexis is frustrated, MaKayla is already stir crazy and feels bad she won't be able to help the basketball team during the Sterling Invitational, but this is life right now.  Our turn was bound to come sometime.

9:03 am Me: Glad you waited until Brad is back:)

9:09 am Jim: 👍

Everyone Gets Home

Thursday,  January 7, 2021

11:01 am Jim: Brad is free tomorrow, so he can drive his route! So, can you drive Kate's? Then Bailey and I will drive Wendy's with vans, and everyone gets home:)

11:02 am Me: Sounds like a great plan. Kate for just PM correct?

11:03 am Jim: Yes, that's correct

11:03 am Me: 🥳Hooray for having Brad back.

11:03 am Jim: YES

Isabel not feeling well

Monday,  January 4, 2021

2:18 pm Me: If Isabel is not feeling well in the morning she'll stay home and we'll have her tested.  If that turns out to be the case do I have my older kids do school from home tomorrow or wait for test results?

2:20 pm Jim: The rule is that they don't have to quarantine if a household member is awaiting test results. If you're not worried, go ahead and send them.

2:21 pm Me: Sounds good.  I'm really not worried but trying to cover all the bases.

New Magnet

Balie must have had trouble with the papers falling on her while driving too. Fancy new types schedule held up by a much stronge...
